Every year, we invite our team to come together and vote for a charity they’d like us to support. This year, they chose Acorns Children’s Hospice.
Acorns is dedicated to providing specialist palliative care and support for children and their families across the region. Alongside expert nursing care, their hospices create space for families to make meaningful memories, while offering emotional, physical, and practical support that helps maintain the best quality of life.
To support our chosen charity, our team got stuck into a wide range of fundraising activities and challenges throughout the year.
One of the most memorable events was our office skydive. It was an unforgettable leap for those who took part, jumping from several thousand feet in the air, all for a great cause!
But that was just one of many ways we raised funds. From more active step challenges to calm and relaxed events like office games nights, the Great Wise Bake Off, and even our Christmas jumper day, everyone played their part.
It’s thanks to these collective efforts that we’re proud to have raised over £2,000 for a charity we truly believe in. It’s also one we know will make a real difference to families across the West Midlands.
We’re excited to carry this momentum into the year ahead and continue supporting great causes through even more fundraising for our next chosen charity.
