We’re proud to announce that Wise has been named Digital Startup of the Year at the 2021 West Midlands Tech Awards.
A number of the Wise team were in attendance at the ICC in Birmingham on Monday 15th November as we collected the prestigious award in front of an audience of some of the brightest tech talent from across the region.
Collecting the award, Wise Chief Commercial Officer, Dan Richards, said: “Our business has been on an incredible journey over the last year or two as we’ve dramatically expanded the team, bringing in the very best techtalent from across the region to create a platform that is genuinely revolutionary. We’re delighted to have won this West Midlands Tech Award and this is testament to the hard work and dedication shown by the entire Wise team.”
This new award recognises the outstanding journey that we’ve been on since being founded back in 2019, with our platform now being used by over 250 UK logistics firms and 11,000 self-employed subcontractors.
Being recognised as Digital Startup of The Year is vindication for the fast-growing, sustainable journey the business has been on in recent years and this award comes off the back of Wise recently being certified as an official Great Place To Work ™.
