What is your role at Wise?
Software Engineer.
What does that involve?
As a software engineer at Wise, my daily tasks consist of pumping out quality front-end code and working to a high standard! Also collaboratively solving tasks with other knowledgeable engineers and learning from them to help progression.
Some days we might even squeeze in a cheeky pub lunch and a game of pool back at the office.
What do you enjoy most about working here, and what motivates you to excel in your role?
It’s the culture, hands down. We’re all about growth and hard work, but also it’s important to make sure we bring lots of banter and Wise are good at rewarding the efforts we put in.
What’s the culture like at Wise?
The culture at Wise is one of the many reasons I enjoy working here… everyone is chill but we’re also on the same wavelength, making teamwork a walk in the park and supporting others is no trouble.
What’s your favourite memory since working here?
My favourite memory has to be the day Angelo lost a bet and was forced to sing Backstreet Boys – I want it that way… His singing will forever be etched into my brain and not in a good way!
