NEPTs drivers pick up patients at their home address and take them to their medical appointments. These drivers are trained to help patients into vehicles and assist with their medical equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, crutches etc.
Types of NEPT vehicles
- Ambulatory transport – These types of vehicles are for passengers who don’t need any type of medical equipment.
- Wheelchair transport – These types of vehicles have lifts to support patients using wheelchairs, with lifts to get the wheelchair in and out.
- Stretcher medical transport – This vehicle supports patients that are bedridden, and can no longer sit upright to require regular transportation.
