Last week, we were delighted to welcome Saqib Bhatti, MP for Meriden and Solihull East, to Wise headquarters.
Saqib is a passionate advocate for local businesses, and supporting them as they grow, which spurred the visit. He took time out of his busy schedule to meet with Dan Richards (Deputy CEO), James Orton (Chief Product & Tech Officer), and Gavin Bhangal (Head of VAT) to learn more about how Wise supports logistics businesses across the UK.
During the visit, we had an open and engaging discussion around the challenges the logistics industry faces today. One subject we spoke in-depth about was regulatory changes, which led us into exploring how businesses adapt to these challenges – and how companies like Wise help to create a positive impact when facing these issues, with smart technology.
Conversations like these play an important part in ensuring policymakers and technology providers are focusing on working together, and are what contribute towards sustainable growth and innovation across the sector.
Thanks to Saqib and his team for taking time to visit Wise HQ. We were delighted to have the opportunity to showcase what we do as a business, and exchange ideas on the future of technology and logistics.
