This month’s employee spotlight is on our Junior Digital Designer Stefan Mitev. We sat down with Stefan to ask how he’s found working at Wise.

Stefan Mitev – Junior Digital Designer

What is your role at Wise?

I’m a Junior Digital Designer.

What does your day-to-day work look like?

Every day at Wise is different, however, it usually includes brainstorming with the design team, conducting UX research, and contributing to the design conversation in different capacities from designing marketing and social media assets, web pages to creating new app screens and the MCP/WAP portal.

What’s the culture like at Wise?

The culture is very family-like. Everyone is always friendly and helpful! We do monthly social get-togethers and also have fun activities like pool tournaments!

What’s special about working at Wise?

It’s the community that has been built thanks to the great management here!

Have you grown professionally since working at Wise?

Even though I have been here for no more than 6 months, I have learnt a lot about design, working in a team and making important decisions!

What’s your favourite memory since working at Wise?

When Angelo sang “I Want It That Way” by the Backstreet Boys in front of the whole team!
