Welcome back to another instalment of our “Wise Spotlight” blog series. Our featured Wise employee is Holly Davis, Talent Manager.
Hi Holly! Can you tell us about your role at Wise?
As the Talent Manager, this involves taking ownership of our whole talent function. We’ve got huge plans for the next year and beyond, so attracting and identifying the right talent, whilst cultivating our existing talent, is a vital part of our growth. My role involves being an ambassador of the Wise culture. I am dedicated to protecting and growing our people and the employee experience.
What's the culture like at Wise?
The culture at Wise is highly collaborative. The autonomy you have within Wise, allows you to fulfil your role to the best of your ability, showing passion, commitment and motivation. You feel so valued as an employee; it truly is a refreshing place to work.
What do you enjoy most about working here, and what motivates you to excel in your role?
The thing I enjoy most about working for Wise is the people within the business. The culture here is second to none; we are all like-minded, hardworking, and driven individuals, which ties in with the motivation to excel within my role. Collaborating with such skilled people allows me to go above and beyond with support from all areas of the business.
What’s your favourite memory since working at Wise?
It’s hard to select just one memory, so I would say hiring 40 people in the space of 2 months to bring in to- tier talent within the business. Expanding on our culture and company values will always be my favourite
